I’m Mark Mackinnon and I’m a freelance web designer in the North West of England. I’m 45 years old and I have run my own web design business for 12 years.

I have always been interested in design and computers and I built my first ever website in 2004. The site is still online to this day, you can see it here.

As well as running my own web design business I also run interactive ‘Build your own Website in One Day’ workshops in the north of England where I’ll show people with no web design skills or experience how easy it is to build their own website.

In my interactive workshop I will show you why you don’t need to pay a web designer thousands of pounds for a website for your business and how easy it is to create your own. I’ll take you step by step through the process and you will finish the day with your very own website and the knowledge needed to manage it going forward.

The workshop is interactive so you’ll need to bring a laptop along with you. There’ll be no more than 6 people on each workshop and we’ll spend the day together where I’ll show you how to create your very own website.
